Chapter 2, draft 1 done. I still don’t know where this is going but it feels like it’s taking me there. I need to stay away from genre cliches with this one. It would be too easy to compare to other YA fare, and I’d fail there since I’ve never written one before. #writing

I just got a weird scam phone call asking to put my book in local bookstores. Obviously, they saw one title and then asked if I am working on other books (I have 5) I may want to publish with them. Heavy foreign accent and the company name was indistinguishable. #publishing #scam
