What exciting things are you doing this weekend? I’m going outside (and eat, probably.) I’ll also work on setting up the iMac the way I want it, and doing some iOS and editing.

The speakers sound decent.

I’m doing a clean install instead of restoring from backup. I don’t want to pollute the nice M1 with libraries and junk… #iMac

I just checked. The new iMac is a couple mm. thicker than my iPad Pro. #iMac

The problem is there are only 4 ports all USB-C. Most of my stuff is still USB-A and even an old Apple DVI monitor I’ve been using as a second screen… I need to simplify my cabling and get rid of the adapters. #iMac #apple

I’m surprised the boxes are as big as the previous models but the actual machine is a ton thinner and lighter. #mac #apple

Little progress on my Auteureist rewrite into #SwiftUI. That’s how learning works. You try something and learn your assumptions are wrong. You try something else and adjust your assumptions. You keep doing this until the code to works. The assumptions are still probably wrong.
