The hotel lobby is unusually empty this morning. I’m sitting and planning the scenes I need to write.

A lot of people are going to be turkeys this evening. They’ll all get stuffed.

It’s raining here in Philadelphia today. I guess I’ll stay in the hotel and write all day until dinnertime. Then I’ll wander out to the Plough & Stars restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s called the holiday “travel rush” here in the States to spend time with people you don’t like or agree with? Relatives you scorn and avoid most of the year You’re better off spending time with those you love and your pets. There is no law that says you have to spend time with elatives. #life
