The table next to me is talking about medical stuff: endometrial linings and chest compressions, but not at the same time. I understand everything they are talking about. It’s like being in Greece and running across someone speaking German and you happen to speak German. No, I don’t speak Greek.

‘Tis the season for spam “publishing” promoters. I just got two calls from people trying to get rights to “Last Call” and “The Singular Case of the Three Witches”. I don’t even bother answering/responding. Reputable agents/publishers don’t cold-call. #writing #publishing
