Oh well. No doughnuts today. I thought I had enough vegetable shortening. I don’t. Not worth doing a grocery run just to get that. This weekend was not meant to be.

Whenever I make doughnuts, they come out edible.

Yup. I’m going to have a go at making doughnuts tomorrow. It’s easier than traveling an hour or two to buy them.

So has anyone actually given someone a hotfoot you were young?

Ugh. More rain tomorrow. Maybe it’s a good reason to make doughnuts.

Really obnoxious music playing at this restaurant. Overly twangy and fake-CW, trying to be overly clever. Cleverness, is an attempt to impress yourself by impressing others. I guess it’s obnoxious because they want to “turn over” tables. #music
